OUR TEAM

Anna Coble
Occupational Therapist & Owner
I am so thankful for all of the wonderful children and their families I have been able to work with since 2013 when I opened FUNctional Therapy. I have always had a passion to help individuals . While studying at Bellarmine University for my undergraduate and then Spalding University for my Masters program I worked with several Autistic children and their families. This provided me so much knowledge and passion for my future career.
Education has always been an important aspect of who I am and is part of the foundation of our clinic. Outside of work I love spending time with my husband and two kids. We spend a lot of time outside, love traveling, and being with family and friends.

Jules Arnold
Speech Language Pathologist
Born and raised in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Jules has always been fascinated with language. By 10, she had attempted to learn 4 different languages, if only being able to count to 10. Jules learned about the world of speech-language pathology from a friend’s mom when she was 15. What drew Jules into this world, was the beauty of communication through language, and the hardship that comes when difficulties and breakdowns occur. There was a profession of people who could do something to help. Immediately, Jules knew this is what she wanted to do for a living.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in American Sign Language. She then moved to Louisville to get her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at UofL. Following graduation, Jules gained experience working in assisted living facilities across Louisville. While she loved her time with that population, she seemed to always feel a pull back to her love of pediatric care. In her spare time, Jules loves to drink coffee, read, crochet, quilt, cook, bake, and do anything with her husband, Aiden. She is so excited to be part of the team at FUNctional Therapy!

Kristin is absolutely amazing at supporting her clients, families and teachers at Walden School with her nurturing manner, creativity, and drive for education.

Samantha Goldsborough
Patient Care Coordinator
My name is Samantha Goldsborough and I am the Patient Care Coordinator at FUNctional Therapy. Louisville is my hometown, and no matter where I travel, I always end up back in my favorite state, Kentucky. I enjoy drawing, painting, reading (mostly true crime and history), spending time with my family, and watching movies (I am a huge movie-buff). My weird talent is being able to identify movies based on their beginning seconds and sometimes just by the beginning of a background track ( a very useless yet fun talent). Helping people is my greatest passion and I am very excited for the opportunity to do this through a clinical environment. I am extremely creative and look forward to using this in marketing to new patients as well as continued treatment for existing patients. I would love to hear any questions, suggestions or success stories from current families or perspective patients. Please feel free to reach out to myself or Anna ! Exceptional care and treatment is the number one goal of FUNctional Therapy and I am so happy to be part of their mission..
Shelby Branyon
Office Coordinator
Shelby is native to South Caroline, but has enjoyed her time in Louisville since moving in 2023. She has worked in many areas of the healthcare industry, but therapy is her favorite because of the positive impact it has one person's future. She enjoys seeing the 'lightbulb moment' in a kid when they learn something new or do something for the very first time.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to audio books, spending time with friends, and playing with her dog, Macy.

Sondi Barnett
Speech Language Pathologist
Sondi has been working with children and families for decades. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Minor back in ’86 and then wore many hats -- wife, Mom, teacher, Odyssey of the Mind coach, school and church volunteer, children’s music director, etc. Ever ready to grow and learn, at 42 years of age, she began graduate studies and became a Speech-Language Pathologist upon successful completion of U of L’s School of Medicine’s Communicative Disorders program with a Master of Science Degree and began her own private practice, Time 2 Talk, PLLC in May 2013.
While an introvert at heart, she has always been drawn to connecting with children, creatively teasing out how to help them grow and feel more confident in who they are and what they are able to achieve. She primarily services children and families at the clinic and works with children and teachers on site at Harvey Browne Preschool. Being able to work with parents and caregivers is a favorite part of each day-- modeling, training, and answering questions to empower families once they leave the clinic to apply what they’ve learned together!
She relishes “quiet” time in nature, camping, hiking, reading, gardening, writing, singing, and cooking, and just regularly being in awe of each newly designed sky or landscape. She’s an empty-nester now but enjoys making memories with her adult children, her cat Nutmeg with the crooked tail and “hiss” meow, and extended family and friends. She feels greatly blessed to be a part of this clinic, to work with such wonderful therapists at FUNctional Therapy, and to have such a colleague and friend in its owner over all of these years.
